Due to a scheduling error, the Fall Cleanup scheduled for September 15, has been cancelled. The next Fall Cleanup is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2025.

ADDENDUM NO. 1North Canalside Enhancements- Bridge Painting Town of Seneca Falls

Effective from this date of issue, the following changes are part of the Contract Documents for the above referenced project.

All provisions of the original Contract Documents shall remain in full force and effect as specifically described in this Addendum. The date of issue is September 9, 2025. The bid date remains unchanged.

TO THE SPECIFICATIONS:To Section 001113, ADVERTISEMENT TO BID, North Canalside Enhancements: Change to the date on which questions and requests for information must be submitted by. The sentence which previously read, “Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions orrequests for information must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025,” has been changed to read “Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions or requests for information must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025”per the attached revised advertisement for bids.

On behalf of the Town of Seneca Falls (Owner), Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. (B&L) is soliciting proposals for furnishing and delivering chemicals for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Sealed proposals from Suppliers for the furnishing the chemicals will be received by the Town of Seneca Falls at the Office of the Clerk at 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York, 13148 until 2:30 p.m. local time on September 24, 2025 at which time the proposals received will be publicly opened and recorded.

Suppliers are responsible for submitting their proposals to the specified location so that they are RECEIVED prior to the time and date as stated.

Notice of Special Town Board Meeting

Please be advised that pursuant to Section 62 of the New York State Town Law and Section 104 of the New York State Public Officer’s Law, a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Seneca Falls will be held at 5:00 PM on 11th, September 2025 at the Seneca Falls Town Offices at 130 Ovid St., Seneca Falls, NY for the purpose of considering a Bond Resolution in the amount of Sixteen Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars ($16,995,000.00) to be used for water system improvements.

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS:  VAN RENSSELAER WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE FROM SEPTEMBER 8 TO SEPTEMBER 11, 2025

Please be advised that scheduled maintenance will be performed on the Van Rensselaer Street Water Tower beginning September 8, 2025, and is expected to be completed by September 11, 2025.

During this time, you may experience:

Temporary changes in water pressure

Possible discoloration of water

Brief service interruptions

Please conserve water usage and limit laundry and dishwasher cycles.

This maintenance is necessary to ensure the continued safety and reliability of our water system. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this important work is completed.
