BRUSH AND DEBRIS PICKUP WILL START ON MONDAY, JULY 20, 2026

NOTICE TO TOWN RESIDENTS:

Brush and debris pickup in Seneca Falls will start on Monday, July 20th. Please have debris at the roadside ON THE NIGHT BEFORE COLLECTION DAY.

One pass per street. No return trips will be made.

One truckload per household.

Leaves must be in paper bags. They will not be picked up in plastic bags or piles along the street.

Branches must be no longer than 4 feet in length, 12 inches in diameter and must be placed parallel to the road.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL – HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

The Assessor of the Town of Seneca Falls has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Assessment Office, at 130 Ovid Street, where it may be seen or examined by any interested person until the last Tuesday in May.

TOWN HIGHWAY DEPT. HAS JOB OPENINGS FOR SEASONAL LABORERS & MEOs

The Town Highway Department is currently seeking Seasonal Laborers.  Interested individuals may apply through the Seneca County Employment Portal, and scroll down to Job Bank (https://seneca-portal.mycivilservice.com/).

Town of Seneca Falls – Sewer Flushing Notice

The Town of Seneca Falls Water & Sewer Department will be conducting routine sanitary sewer flushing on the south side of the canal from:

March 1 through March 31, 2026Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

This maintenance is part of the Town’s ongoing infrastructure program to ensure proper sewer system operation.

What Residents May Experience:

During flushing operations, residents may notice:

Gurgling or bubbling in toilets or drains

Temporary sewer odors

Possible minor splashing from toilets

Brief discoloration of water

Precautions:

Keep toilet lids closed during flushing hours

Limit water use when possible during work hours

If water appears discolored, run cold water until it clears
