NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY 2026 TOWN BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Seneca Falls for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026, has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Municipal Building, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular office hours.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Seneca Falls will hold a Public Hearing on said Preliminary Budget at the Seneca Falls Town Hall, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York, on NOVEMBER 17, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., at which time and place any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained.

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following elected Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:

Legal Notice – Special Public Meeting 10/7/25

The Town of Seneca Falls will hold a special public hearing on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00pm in conjunction with the Town Board Meeting, which is located at 130 Ovid Street in Seneca Falls. The purpose is to share the results of, and hear any public comments on, The Town of Seneca Fall’s current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: 1057ME525-23; Microenterprise Assistance Program; which was awarded $210,000. The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR), and provides resources to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The hearing will provide further information about the progress and recognized benefits of the CDBG Microenterprise project. Comments related to the effectiveness of administration of the CDBG project will also be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.

The Town of Seneca Falls Municipal Building (130 Ovid Street) is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, those individuals should contact the Town of Seneca Falls at 315-568-8013 at least three days in advance of the hearing date to allow for necessary arrangements.
