Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Seneca Falls, County of Seneca, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Assessment Office, at 130 Ovid Street, where it may be seen or examined by any interested person until the last Tuesday in May. The Tentative Assessment Roll is also available for viewing on the Seneca County Website: www.senecacountyny.gov per the requirement of RPTL section 1590 (2).
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on: May 3th, May 6th, May 8th, and May 12th, by appointment only; please call 315.568.9700 to schedule.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet May 27, 2025, to hear complaints. The hearing of the complaint schedule will vary between the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Town of Seneca Falls Municipal Building located at: 130 Ovid Street, in said Town, to hear and examine all complaints (in relation to assessment on the application), of any person believing to be aggrieved. The deadline to apply is May 27, 2025.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Site Improvements will be received by the Town of Seneca Falls Clerk’s Office, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 until 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project consists of the construction of various site improvements including concrete sidewalks, a new stamped concrete walkway along the canal, installation of playground equipment and steel stairs, replacement of the existing parking lot with a stamped concrete parking lot, installation of concrete crosswalks, and lighting improvements throughout People’s Park in the Town of Seneca Falls, NY, as noted in the Bidding Documents dated September 2024.
Bids will be received for the entire contract only. As indicated in the Bid Form, the Base Bids and Alternate Bid Items shall be on a stipulated sum basis. All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the Issuing Office.

Sealed, separate Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Generator will be received by Town of Seneca Falls, at the office of the Town Clerk, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York 13148, until 2:00 pm local time on September 20, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists primarily of a new 400kW diesel outdoor generator and 1200A automatic transfer switch. Associated work includes replacing the existing 1200A service entrance, minimal site grading, load bank, and auxiliary power and control circuiting.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.
