On behalf of the Town of Seneca Falls (Owner), Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. (B&L) is soliciting proposals for furnishing and delivering chemicals for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Sealed proposals from Suppliers for the furnishing the chemicals will be received by the Town of Seneca Falls at the Office of the Clerk at 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York, 13148 until 2:30 p.m. local time on September 24, 2025 at which time the proposals received will be publicly opened and recorded.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS  

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Site Improvements will be received by the Town of Seneca Falls Clerk’s Office, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 until 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  

The Project consists of the preparation of and the refinishing of structural and decorative components of the steel truss bridge, the Bridge Street Bridge, also known as the “It’s a Wonderful Life Bridge”, in the Town of Seneca Falls, NY, maintenance and protection of traffic , protection of the waterway, and temporary removal and reconnection of appurtenances not scheduled for painting, as noted in the Bidding Documents dated JUNE 2025.  

Bids will be received for the entire contract only. As indicated in the Bid Form, the Base Bids and Alternate Bid Items shall be on a stipulated sum basis. All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the Issuing Office.  

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the Town of Seneca Falls Clerk’s Office, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. • Participation of Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“MWBE”) pursuant to Executive Law Article 15-A, Economic Development Law Article 4-A and 5NYCRR Parts 140-144, Rules and Regulations of the Minority and Women’s Business Development Program. The MWBE combined goal for construction contracts is 30% of the contract value for any contract with a value above $100,000;

Sealed, separate Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Generator will be received by Town of Seneca Falls, at the office of the Town Clerk, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York 13148, until 2:00 pm local time on September 20, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists primarily of a new 400kW diesel outdoor generator and 1200A automatic transfer switch.  Associated work includes replacing the existing 1200A service entrance, minimal site grading, load bank, and auxiliary power and control circuiting. 

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.   

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the Town of Seneca Falls Office Building, 130 Ovid Street, Seneca Falls, New York 13148. Town Clerk: (315) 568-8013. Purchase made by Town of Seneca Falls are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax.  Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials.  Exemption certificates will be executed upon request.
