The Town of Seneca Falls Water/Sewer Department will be conducting routine sanitary sewer flushing to maintain proper operation of the sanitary sewer system. Operations to begin on Monday 8/25/2025 between the hours of 7am-2pm. We will begin this process in the Anthony Drive area and continue on the south side of the canal until it is complete, possibly mid-September.
During this maintenance, residents and businesses may experience the following Temporary conditions:
Gurgling noises from drains and toilets
Odors from sewer lines
Brief periods of discolored water
Resident Guidelines:
Keep toilet lids closed as a precaution
Limit water usage during flushing hours
If water appears discolored, run cold water until it clears before use.
Run water in sinks to fill traps, limiting the possibility of odors.
