The Town of Seneca Falls Water & Sewer Department will be conducting routine sanitary sewer flushing on the south side of the canal from:
March 1 through March 31, 2026
Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
This maintenance is part of the Town’s ongoing infrastructure program to ensure proper sewer system operation.
What Residents May Experience:
During flushing operations, residents may notice:
- Gurgling or bubbling in toilets or drains
- Temporary sewer odors
- Possible minor splashing from toilets
- Brief discoloration of water
Precautions:
- Keep toilet lids closed during flushing hours
- Limit water use when possible during work hours
- If water appears discolored, run cold water until it clears
